Kim Nayoung on the importance of vocabulary
Before I entered TALK Academy, I had been living here for 1 year and 6 months.
Actually, I could speak English a little, but I didn’t endeavor to study. One day, I felt that I was wasting my time and I wanted to learn English before I go back to Korea, so I entered TALK Academy.
I liked that we learned different subject every hour with different teachers. I didn’t have time to be bored. I had never memorized vocabulary hard but I’d known what I needed. In the academy, I memorized 40 new words and 160 review words every day. I think it was the most beneficial for me.
Also, after I leave here, I can do it alone because I already adapted this routine. Then, I liked the stamp system, too. Because of that, I memorized vocabulary hard. It was useful when I wanted to go out on weekends and it was also helpful for me.
Here, meals were very delicious and I was satisfied with my room. It was already two months since I came here. I enjoyed living here but, sometimes, I miss my family and friends so much.
After I go back to Korea, surely I miss here, too. It was a good experience to me and I have a chance later, I want to come here again. Here was a good starting point for me and my future.
