BECI – The Hundred Islands Escapade
Located just three hours away from Baguio City, Hundred Islands is a popular weekend destination in Northern Luzon. BECI Lady Campus students and staffs joined the pack of local dwellers and foreign travelers during the Holy Week, where everyone enjoys the mild climate while unwinding and admiring the gorgeous view of the sea serving as their background.
The students enjoyed island hopping via boat-ride and exciting recreational activities such snorkeling and diving to appreciate the rich and colorful marine life the cerulean sea. Home to various sea creatures, the students also experienced hunting for sea urchins guided by a local tour guide. Some of them tried braving the sea by riding traversing the island gap via zip line.
For the brave heart, they tried cliff jumping to feed their hunger for the adrenaline rush! They savored Filipino breakfast prepared by the staff. They also took delight in feasting delicious tropical fruits, seafood, and freshly grilled barbeque for their lunch.
It was truly a memorable experience for them. They wished they had more time to visit all the coral islands, the Philippines’ pride.
