CNS II – Journey to RMIT International University

by Alex (Vietnam/18/12weeks)

Please, introduce yourself.

Hello, my full name is Le Hai Hung. My friends usually call me Alex. I’m from Vietnam. I’m planning to go to the International University this year.

How did you know CNSⅡ for the first time, and why did you choose this academy?

My friends introduce this school to me. They used to study in CNSⅡ before and they said there are many good teachers here. The teachers have proper methods in terms of teaching IELTS. I want to acquire my target score within a short time so I chose CNSⅡ.

How about the learning environment in CNSⅡ?

CNSⅡ has a good environment for me because it helps me focus on my studies. CNSⅡ provides the sufficient conditions so only the thing that I can concentrate on here is studying IELTS. Besides, I like every meal here. The staffs change the menu frequently so I can enjoy varied dishes most especially the taste of rice.

While studying at CNSⅡ for last 2 months, how did you feel?

I’m quite satisfied. The school designs a suitable schedule for me. I have a reasonable timetable to study as well as my daily routine so although I study hard, I still can maintain my good condition. Plus, I can choose the teachers who have suitable teaching methods that fit me. Thus, I feel comfortable while studying here.

Which class is the most effective to study?

It’s speaking class. I can converse a lot with my teacher and based on our conversation, my teacher points out my mistakes when it comes to grammar and pronunciation. She also provides me with many effective vocabularies as well as patterns in getting a high score in IELTS. When I took the official IELTS exam in Vietnam, I only got 3.0 but now my speaking score is 5.0. I really feel that I made a good progress.

How about the quality of CNSⅡ teachers?

Most of the teachers have excellent teaching skills. They are also very enthusiastic. Honestly, I learn many things from them. When I was in Vietnam, it’s very difficult for me to study English. But since I came here, I have improved a lot; because I have an English environment to practice English every day as well as I have the teachers who have a lot of experiences in teaching IELTS to help me.

Who is your best teacher? And why do you think so?

Teacher Jamie is the best one for me. She helps me broaden my English knowledge a lot. I like her method of teaching. She supplies me with many new academic vocabularies; she also teaches me the way how to use adjectives efficiently. Now, I am more confident in speaking English than before. She is very kind and hilarious as well.

Based on your experience, how about Baguio?

Baguio’s weather is similar to my hometown. So I can adapt easily and feel very comfortable. The residents here are very friendly. I can practice English with them whenever I go out.
