CNS II – The early bird catches the worm

by Masaki(Japan/19/8weeks)

Please, introduce yourself.

My name is Masaki and I’m from Japan.

Why did you start to study IELTS?

I am planning to study abroad. To enter University in Malaysia, I need to get at least 5.5 IELTS score.

How did you know CNSⅡ for the first time, and why did you choose this academy?

Actually, I have enough time before going to Malaysia so Japanese agency recommends me Baguio and Cebu where I can study English. But I have been to Cebu before, so I chose to come here to CNS II.

How about the learning environment?

I really like my teachers. They are so kind but when it comes to studying, they are strict. I can study in many places not only in the library but also in the lobby and individual classroom.

While studying at CNS Ⅱ for the last 4weeks, how did you feel?

I felt my English ability was getting better than before and I became a talkative person. After taking an IELTS, my score will show how far I improved

Which class is the most effective to study?

Writing and reading are the easiest subject to get a high score by mastering the different sentence patterns and developing skills in different question types. In my case, Speaking is the most difficult part because it requires complex details and elaboration.

How about the quality of CNSⅡ teachers?

Most teachers are really good. They are professional in teaching IELTS.

Based on your experience, how about Baguio?

The temperature is so good compared to Cebu. We can buy anything near the school. There is a mall nearby the school and the price is very cheap. Also, I like to visit some café in Baguio because I heard that Baguio is well-known for coffee beans so I enjoy going to the café here.

Before coming to CNS II, what should new students prepare for successful study?

It will be much better if they bring an electronic dictionary. I didn’t bring it so I felt inconvenient occasionally when I need to find some word that I don’t know. Students can use their cell phone as a dictionary but it is not as convenient as an electronic dictionary.
