“STUDY ENGLISH! IT’S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES.”
The Baguio English School Association (BESA) joins the first PETC (PHILIPPINE EDUCATION TOURISM CONFERENCE) organized by the DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM with the aim of putting the Philippines in the map as one of the best study destination in the world.
A wide array of speakers and guests from different parts of the world were invited to talk about the emerging markets that eye our country as their alternative study destination. They see the ESL industry in our country as a great place for experiential education therefore giving us the opportunity to bring more students to our nation.
We were educated with the current trends that are currently affecting the industry and were given points on certain strategies for penetrating more markets. It was also nice to know where the Philippines is now in the world of ESL. We have realized that we have the competitive advantage but we need to keep improving to raise the bar of our education system.
Overall, this event has opened more doors to us and we know that the ESL industry here in the Philippines has a lot more to offer thus will attract more students because… “Studying English is More Fun in the Philippines.”
