Department of Tourism – CAR is improving their programs and expanding their horizons by coordinating with accredited ESL schools in BESA. A meeting was held at the City Tourism office September 11, 2019 to discuss how each parties can benefit from each other. It was acknowledged by DOT that the ESL industry is a major product of the Philippines in behalf of tourism. Ideas, collaborations and future plans were brainstormed and tackled in which both sides were enthusiastic.
Although it was an initial meeting, DOT plans to continue communications with BESA for more joint projects as affiliates build the name of ESL as a name that is more than JUST a teaching institution
