Today, I would like to talk to you about the daily routine of a junior CNS student:
07:00 to 08:00 am Morning gymnastics and Breakfast
In preparation for the start of the day
At 7:00 in the morning, the children wake up with the beat of the music, which has been going on five (5) minutes earlier with the intention of arousing them from their sleep.
We try to choose some songs among the most popular K-pop songs for children’s sunny disposition and be energetic at the start of the day.
Despite waking up early, you can see some students humming and dancing to the beat of the music.
Then, they go down to the playground located on the ground floor the soonest possible time.
We make sure that no one is sick. A teacher is tasked to be in front to demonstrate the sequence of the gymnastic activities so they can easily follow. Through this, not only will they wake up completely through the morning exercises but they can take care of their health and enjoy their breakfast even more.
We pay more attention to the students’ cleanliness as the class goes one-on-one. We do brushing tests after every meal. Make sure that they change their clothes well, that nobody has tangled hair, and that their hair is neatly combed or tied properly before they go to class.
08:00-12:25: The students attend to their 1 to 5 classes
Students have break time for 10 minutes after each class, and they take 5 classes. During the break, there are CNS students who play or relax in the playground, and students who spend their time talking or playing games with foreign teachers after each class.
12:25-13:25 Lunch Time
Students who have studied hard during the 5th class enjoy great lunch.
After that, check their teeth again and relax so that they can prepare for the rest of the class. When children want to eat dessert, sometimes, we buy some sweet things them so that they all get a treat of ice cream or something in the playground together.
13:25-17:55 The Rest of the Class And Snacking Time
Students take a total of 10 classes in a day; including 1:1 classes for 5 to 6 hours, the group’s English discussion class is for 1 hour, special classes (pop song, dance, basketball, dodge ball, chess, reading, etc) for 1 hour as well, the math group tutorials and self-directed learning time also for an hour.
When they get hungry, they have snacks at around 3pm and continue with the classes.
17:55-19:00 Dinner Time
10 classes is finished, right after dinner, the students have the option to take a shower first then take a rest, and prepare for the night class.
20:00 ~ 21:30 Night Class
Night classes are Korean-style classes such as memorization, reading, and writing.
In addition to American-style regular classes, which are classes in the morning and afternoon, this kind of combination is very effective and powerful. Students can improve their English quickly and achieve remarkable results.
21:30~ Preparing to Go to Bed.

Students gather in the lobby which is situated in front of the fourth floor at 10 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. We give announcements for 5 to 10 minutes. They take a shower and get ready to go to bed. After 10 o’clock, Korean teachers walk around the hall to make sure that the children are sleeping well and wrap up the day,
