The culinary and hotelier culture awakening in the previous years is not leaving anyone behind. When it’s obviously more than a passing fascination, maybe it’s time to give formal cooking and hospitality education a great deal of consideration. Culinary and Hospitality offers a dynamic stage where ones performance can land you a 5 star career.
In line with this, HELP Education Group is honored to take part and work together with Swiss Hotel Management School to introduce and promote the Swiss Culinary & Hospitality Education experience to 40 adult students that are currently taking our HELP Pathway program. It has been a very successful symposium, which took place in Longlong Campus on the 23rd and 24th of January. Needless to say, the stunning visuals of the hotels and campus that SHMS has shown and the beautiful Caux Palace really appealed to many.
Would you like a hands-on approach to your education in an impressive, service-orientated, culturally sensitive environment? Housed in former traditional Swiss Palace hotels in Caux and Leysin, Swiss Hotel Management School’s generous facilities allow for a hands-on delivery of Hotel, Resort, Events, and Spa management programmes.
This “Learning By Doing” approach has long been the stronghold of traditional Swiss hospitality education. Lavish banqueting halls, a grand theatre, fully equipped wet and dry spas and a multitude of inclusive restaurants with various cuisine options enable students to experience hospitality operations first hand. In tandem with its strong UK university partner, the school develops graduates who can both implement their ideas in a working environment and lead the required processes, making them absolutely employment-ready.
SHMS believe that learning how to cook and deliver aid can give a sense of accomplishment and self-reliance, boosting self-esteem. In a classroom environment, it will also teach learners how to work well with others, a skill that will be useful for years to come. Ultimately, the students not only learn by reading and following recipes, they’ll learn leadership, teamwork, organization while living, working, and learning in the same place– a deal that nearly any aspiring student will appreciate.
