[About CNSⅡ]
Please, introduce yourself.
I’m Sandra, I was born in Taoyuan, Taiwan. My hobby is singing and playing guitar. This is my first time to study in Philippines and everything is quite unique to me.
Why did you start to study IELTS?
I’d like to apply my master degree in The United Kingdom, so I came here to study IELTS to get my goal score.
How did you know CNSⅡ for the first time, and why did you choose this academy?
Honestly, my agency recommended me to study IELTS in CNS2 because the tuition fee is relatively cheap compared to other schools and CNS2 has experienced and qualified tutors.
[About the IELTS course]
While studying at CNSⅡ for last 3weeks, how did you feel?
Well, it was really cold when I arrived Baguio, I was not used to it. But now, I’m okay with the weather, as long as keep myself warm. I was a bit nervous when starting new classes. Now, I enjoy talking to teachers and other students from other countries. In addition, I really appreciate kitchen staff, they prepare food for us, and the dishes are really delicious.
Which class is the most effective to study?
I would say it is my writing class, because I am able to learn writing skills and structure on every lesson. It is better than studying and writing essay by myself. Teacher corrects my errors directly. Moreover, teacher can answer every question I had.
As a Taiwanese student, what is the most effective point while studying in CNSⅡ?
Well, it is one on one class, because it is pricey in Taiwan to pay personal tutors. And I found that I can learn more on one on one classes.
[About teachers]
Who is your best teacher? And why do you think so?
My writing teacher, Relyn. She explains very clearly. The structure of paragraph is very logical. I’ve never written any essay like IELTS part 1. She even teaches me grammar and academic vocabularies. Thanks to teacher Relyn, I am able to finish writing part 1 within 20 minutes.
[Tips for new students]
Before coming to CNSⅡ, what should new students prepare for successful study?
I suggest that they can bring their own grammar books or writing idea materials.
What is your tip for new students?
Be sure to bring medicine for a cold and iPhone earphone, because it is hard to find the latest electrical products here. Moreover, I suggest that they can bring their own hometown food or snacks. They can share those with classmates and teachers.
