On November 20, 2019, BESA visited the main campus of Pines International Academy at Ignacio Villamor Street. They toured the academy’s features including; their group classrooms, one-on-one classrooms, canteen, and other student facilities. Leading the tour was their Korean student, Anna who was very kind and enthusiastic whilst guiding us around the school.
The tour started at the reception area where Anna explained all the paper works for students to fill up. She also introduced the hardworking staff working in that section. She then proceeded to the classrooms and explained each type depending on the program the student took.
The rooms were then presented, showing off 4 bunk beds with complete and quality amenities for their students. Their rooms provide an academically conducive environment as well as a stunning view of pine trees outside the building.
Pines Academy featured their computer-delivered IELTS facility as well as their training room for teachers where they provide the utmost quality in their offerings for their students.
Their tour also showcased their spacious and naturally lit canteen featuring Chao Bao Fu, a Taiwanese Bubble Tea Shop that offers not only milk tea but also different types of espresso-based beverages.
Pines International Academy is a licensed International English school that is accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) that caters to different programs under highly qualified teachers that have a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA), a globally recognized teacher training qualification.
